STATION 02 / CAPABILITY

Websites & platforms

A website is useful when it supports a real customer or business journey. DigiPixel designs and builds sites around that job rather than around a preset package.

THE DETAIL

Websites built around the job they need to do.

A good website should explain the offer quickly, make the next step obvious, support search and campaigns, and be straightforward to manage. We combine structure, content, design and development so those pieces work together rather than being treated as separate hand-offs.

Web design & UX

Page structures and interfaces designed around what visitors need to understand, trust and do next—not around a theme or a fashionable layout.

Website development

Fast, maintainable builds using the platform that best fits the project, with attention to performance, editing experience and future change.

QUESTIONS / ANSWERED

Useful things to know before we start.

Can DigiPixel just build the website if we already know what we need?

Yes. The route is there to keep the project focused, not to make a straightforward website unnecessarily complicated. We can start directly with a website brief and validate the important assumptions as part of delivery.

Do you redesign existing websites as well as build new ones?

Yes. A project can range from restructuring and redesigning an existing site to a complete rebuild or a new platform where the current technology is holding the business back.

Will the website be set up for SEO and marketing?

The build includes the technical and structural foundations needed for search and campaigns. Ongoing SEO, PPC and wider digital marketing can then sit within the Digital marketing & growth station when required.

THE IMPORTANT BIT

This is a capability, not a package.

DigiPixel only brings this station into the route when it is justified by the problem, priorities and wider digital context. If you already know the specific service you need, that is a perfectly good starting point too.
